iwis antriebssysteme expands activities in Spain!

Munich, Wilnsdorf, Madrid, May 2024. iwis antriebssysteme GmbH is strengthening its position as an important supplier of industrial chains on the Iberian Peninsula by taking over the chain business of the Transmission/Gecon Group.

In order to provide even better support to iwis customers on the Iberian Peninsula and in South America, iwis antriebssysteme GmbH, Wilnsdorf, is taking over the chain business of Madrid-based company Transmission S.A. as of June 1, 2024 as part of an asset deal.
To this end, iwis founded its new subsidiary iwis drive systems S.L. The existing customers of Transmission S.A. will be served by this new company in future.
The previous Managing Director of Transmission S.A., Jose Maria Moreno, will continue to be available to iwis as an external consultant for the Iberian Peninsula. In this context, the sales team of Transmission S.A. will move to the new iwis drive systems S.L.
We will seek close customer contact and manage the changes well with our customers and business partners.

iwis antriebssysteme is a company of the Munich-based iwis group. Dr. Frank Mitzschke heads the antriebssysteme division and has his sights firmly set on the future.
Nico Hirsch will take over the management in Spain.
